Training and Education
Technicians may go through three levels of training: Bronze, Silver and Gold Certifications.
Bronze is the beginning level, Silver is intermediate, and Gold is advanced. The training
format is varied to assure an excellent educational experience with maximum scheduling
flexibility: on-line through MED University (MED U), hands-on, video and workbook/text.
CRC Technical Training Seminars (TTS)
Technical representatives from the
major powerchair suppliers discuss all the troubleshooting and servicing
issues with their company’s products in this week-long, hands-on seminar.
Parts Discounts
Special discounts for parts are given by most suppliers participating in CRC.
These discounts give you the best pricing anywhere for service and repair parts,
and are only available to CRCs. Parts discounts start once the participating CRC
has at least one technician at the Gold Certification level.
Service Management and Operations Guidelines
Each CRC is provided with a CRC Program Manual and CRC Service Management Manual,
which have proven to be valuable references for managing service effectively and
profitably.
Marketing Tools
CRC members are provided promotional materials to help build identity in their
own marketplaces.
