The people of MED are dedicated to improving the quality of your life. We want to make a difference – a positive difference – for those we come in contact with. We have seen the powerful results of living by the Golden Rule and want to further instill this kind of behavior in our business relationships.

To do so, we must discern what is good. As King Solomon said thousands of years ago, "The one who knows right from wrong and has good judgment and common sense is happier than the one who is immensely rich. For such wisdom is far more valuable than precious jewels. Nothing else compares with it. Wisdom gives a long, good life; riches, honor, pleasure, peace."

What is right and wrong? From where do we get the values on which we can base the answers to life's difficult questions? Everyone has his/her own opinion. Everyone is in a different set of circumstances. How then can we be sure that we are right?

From an objective viewpoint, we want our assurance to come from a time-tested, well-proven source. We want our foundation to be able to be built upon by all people, no matter what their opinion or circumstance. We have chosen, therefore, the Biblical law of the Ten Commandments to be our absolute value source in establishing our ethical standards. The above statement of values is derived from that source, and we at MED are pledged to strive to live according to these values.
