The MED National Respiratory Network is a group of respiratory providers with a dedication to honesty, integrity and professionalism.

Membership to the National Respiratory Network is limited to those MED members making the commitment to excellence in home respiratory care services.  These elite MED members make numerous sacrifices, often with no additional reimbursement, to ensure that only the highest level of home respiratory care is provided to their patients.  The requirements for membership are stringent, thus assuring the Network a high level of value.

The benefits of membership in the National Respiratory Network are many.  The MED Group has negotiated contracts with the top vendors, allowing access to pricing that will keep you competitive.  Members also participate in beta-testing and product development plans, providing valuable feedback to the manufacturers.

The National Respiratory Network provides assistance in business development, including consulting, a best practices guide, a quarterly newsletter for your distribution, as well as access to program development.

Industry Advocacy is a paramount benefit for the members of the National Respiratory Network. They know that as members they have a voice with the AARC, AAHomecare, various patient groups, and physician groups, such as ATS, ACCP and NAMDRC.

The Traveling Oxygen Program is a valuable benefit.  The National Respiratory Network provides its members with MED Group Program literature and networking. This program is a great benefit for your customers who want to travel yet feel the limitations of traveling with oxygen.

Finally, as with all MED programs, education is a cornerstone of the National Respiratory Network.  The Network provides access to clinical studies, relevant courses from MED University, as well as CEU training programs.

Historically, home respiratory care services have fallen into the category of durable medical equipment (DME), as defined by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), as well as many other third party payment agencies.  The increasing demand for home respiratory related products and services, along with the clinical and technological advances, warrants a more specific definition.

The MED Group’s National Respiratory Network accepts and promotes the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) official position statement governing home respiratory care services.
