That’s why The MED Group has created MeasureUP, a quality improvement initiative designed to enhance organizational performance. With MeasureUP, you can track some of your more complex organizational processes and then compare your performance with other like companies in the industry.

MeasureUP allows you to monitor processes such as rehab timeliness of service, 90-day concentrator maintenance checks, the accuracy and completeness of patient files, and oxygen prescription renewals. Rely on MeasureUP to encourage your staff to stay ahead of problematic pitfalls.

GETTING STARTED
The MED Group will help you select the organizational measures that best meet your scope of service. Depending upon your current tracking methodologies, we can even import your existing data into MeasureUP so that you may have access to the latest information.

ACCESSING THE SYSTEM
With your assigned user name and password, log on to the MeasureUP website and begin navigating through the measures that you have selected. You may also have the ability to customize some of your measures in order to target your more problematic issues.

DATA COLLECTION
Each month, enter the appropriate information in to the templates provided. In some cases, data entry is not required, as Scantron™ technology is available for immediate downloading of information. Then, use the data to manage complex organizational processes by generating tracking reports for appropriate follow-up.

DATA COMPILATION
And, of course, for quality improvement purposes, you can upload control charts and line graphs to monitor your success and to benchmark your performance against like organizations in the industry.

MEET ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
As an accredited organization, you must meet the quality improvement requirements of your accrediting entity. MeasureUP will satisfy all of the standards required by ACHC, CHAP, and JCAHO.

With a systematic approach to data collection, you can demonstrate to an accrediting body that your organization is analyzing its current performance and enhancing and sustaining continued improvement.
