In the MED supplier selection process, preferred suppliers are selected in each product category. Selection is based on product quality, service, and total value. Our goal is to match the best providers, our MED Members, with a select group of preferred suppliers.
As a result of this process, MED contracts with fewer suppliers in each product category, providing opportunities for increased sales volume for suppliers and better value for Members. This refined approach to contracting, combined with an enhanced member selection process, results in benefits for both MED Members and MED supplier partners.
Once suppliers are selected, The MED Group works diligently to influence Members’ commitment and compliance to the selected suppliers, ultimately leading to increased earnings and improved cash flow for MED Members while bringing increased market share and volume to our preferred supplier partners.
