The MED Group utilizes a variety of forums to complement our Contract Supplier Partner’s sales and marketing efforts. We can assist Suppliers in launching new products, advertising special promotions, informing Members of training/educational opportunities, and much more.
MED*Web
The MED Group has an extranet site that allows for the posting of contract announcements and promotions. Members with access to MED*Web have immediate knowledge of new contracts. They will be directed to the Contract Profile listing all of the terms and conditions of the new agreement, along with instructions on how to access it. In addition to contract announcements, this area allows for the posting of Supplier promotions. Promotions may be related to quantity purchases offering extended terms, or they may be tied into a new product launch.
Direct Mailing
At times, Suppliers may prefer to send product information via direct mail. The MED Group can assist in the development and distribution of such a mailing. The MED Communications Department can assist in the development of materials for our Contract Supplier Partners.
E-conferences
To support the launch of a new or existing contract or product, The MED Group offers e-conferences for Members. Suppliers are afforded the opportunity to present their company’s products and/or services to a select group of interested MED Members. Members are allowed time to ask questions and offer valuable input.
Regional Managers
The MED Group employs four Regional Managers (RMs) who work with Members to offer suggestions of ways to improve their business operations. Regional Managers are trained on the advantages that our Contract Supplier Partner products and services have to offer, and can help identify situations where there might be a potential opportunity. MED RMs work in a consultative capacity to create beneficial outcomes for both Members and Suppliers.
